school premises to inculcate Vedic values in students

white-washed and property of the school should be
properly maintained and well guarded

of purified drinking water in the school.

Cleanliness of urinals and lavatories
be ensured in the school.

Well illuminated, airy class rooms
with electric fans should be provided in each and
every class room.

For the beautification, cleanliness
and pollution free environment plants and flowers
be planted in the schools.

Under the safety norms necessary
repairs and construction should be under taken.

Fire Extinguishers are must for
safety purpose. School Building should be well equipped
with fire extinguishers

School library must be equipped
with quality books & periodicals/ magazines. If
possible audio visual aids etc. be provided in the
Library for the use of student

Science laboratories should be
properly equipped with relevant science apparatus,
models and charts.

Co-curricular activities i.e. NCC,
NSS, Scouts Guide, Red Cross etc. should be inducted
as routine and regular school activities.

Sports/Athletics and Cultural
Youth Festival should be made an integral part of
the school’s annual programmes.

Annual Prize Distribution function
should become a permanent feature of the school. It
should be organized annually.

Annual Sports Day should also be
organized and ensure the complete participation of
the students.

Annual school magazine/ Newsletter
should be published and copy of the same be sent to
DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi/LMC members
and other community members.

House Tests and Annual Examination
should be scheduled before the commencement of new
session with information to the students . It should
be held as per the instructions of Government/Education
Department and report be sent to the DAV College Managing
Committee, New Delhi.

Practice of using unfair means
in the examination by students be discouraged . Supervisory
staff would be appointed by DAV CMC to ensure smooth
conduct of Examination. The result of the Board classes
would be submitted to DAV CMC, New Delhi and also
put before the LMC every year so that proper advice
by DAV CMC/LMC may be given accordingly.

English medium section should
be introduced in each class from 1st to XIIth class
along with other routine sections to upgrade the standard
of the school and to increase the strength of the
students in each class.

It is mandatory for the Principal
and the teachers to attend In-Service Programmes,
Seminars and Workshops being arranged by DAV CMC or
State Department of Education from time to time.

To balance the deficit in school
Budget and to equalize with the Education in emerging
society, Pre-nursery and Nursery classes should be
started with the use of the existing teaching staff.
To revive and rejuvenate the Government
Aided Schools; the D.A.V. College Managing Committee has
taken some effective measures to improve the performance
and image of the aided schools. A modern approach has
been initiated for these schools. All the aided schools
have been given a complete new-look with proper white
wash and neat and clean surroundings. Complete infrastructure
is being provided to these institutions including comfortable
desks and benches, well-equipped science and computer
labs, richly stocked libraries, generator sets and submersible
pumps to provide uninterrupted power and water supply
to the students. Special emphasis is being laid on providing
computer education to the students. Sufficient computer
sets have been provided and well equipped computer labs
have been set up. Havan Yajna is performed daily in the
morning to inculcate vedic values among the students.
Chritar Nirman Shivir (character building camps), Jan
Chetna Rallies and Dharma Shiksha (Religious education)
& Sanskrit Examination are held from time to time
to lay a strong foundation of strong character. Lectures
by eminent educationists and preachers are arranged to
teach moral values to the students. Inter-schools competitions
have been arranged in these schools to provide competitions
in various sports and other activities. Play pens and
play way method of the teaching have also been adopted
to attract the young learners to these schools. Training
camps for the heads and teachers are also organized from
time to time.
